Aisha jamila Hinds has been an American actress for more than a decade. Her appearances have included The Shield as well as True Blood. The versatility of her character has been shown through TV shows such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1, 8-7 and Under the Dome since she began her career as an actor in 2003. Anna's role in Assault on Precinct 13 was her first big breakthrough. The film was her character as Fannie Lou (a feminist activist for women's rights) in the biographical All the Way film that earned her the attention of an actor. Hind also earned high praise for her portrayal of Harriet Tubman's in WGN America's dramatic period drama series Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television has renewed the show for a 3rd season.
