Arnel Pineda

Arnel Pinda is a Filipino singer-songwriter from the Philippines. He became famous in the Philippines during the 1890s, and after that, internationally, in 2007 when he became the lead singer of American rock group Journey. Arnel is 54 years old as of 2021. He was born Arnel Campaner Pineda, on the 5th of September, 1967, in Tondo, Manila, Philippines. Each year, he celebrates his birthday on the 5th of September. Arnel is expected to turn 55 on September 5 2022. His birth sign is Virgo. Arnel is averaging height of 5 feet 4 inches (164 cm). His mother passed away, which left his family with debts. His father, who was six months behind in rent payments and in a position of no means to support his family, requested his relatives to adopt Arnel. Arnel was encouraged by his mother to sing when he was a young child. His parents enrolled him in several singing contests. Arnel's mother passed away due to heart disease at the age of 13. Following the death of his mother the family was left with debt. As his father was six months behind in rent and was also not able to provide his family with food, his father decided to request his family members to take Arnel's siblings. Arnel is the youngest of three siblings, Roderick Pineda and Joselito. Arnel was aware of the gravity of his situation and quit school to alleviate the burden of his father. Arnel went on to spend nearly two decades in the streets sleeping anywhere possible. He collected glass bottles newspapers, and scrap metals and made them available to recyclers. Arnel also performed odd jobs such as cleaning scrap metal or docking ships. Arnel is married to Cherry Pineda. They got married in 2001. The couple has had two kids one daughter (Thea Chenelle Pineda) and a son (Cherub). Arnel has two older children: Matthew and Angelo.
